World Summit AI 2026 | 7-8 October

October 7 - October 8
World Summit AI 2026 | 7-8 October | Amsterdam

World Summit AI brings together the people who develop, deploy, finance and govern artificial intelligence. Its 2026 programme places practical adoption alongside questions of sovereignty, safety, accountability and institutional control.

World Summit AI Amsterdam offers senior decision-makers a broad view of the forces shaping artificial intelligence across business, government and society. The 2026 edition combines ten programme tracks with more than 300 speakers. This creates space for both strategic discussion and detailed examination of how organisations build and adopt AI.

Governance runs through several of the summit’s most relevant conversations. The agenda includes discussions on power, responsibility and control. There is also a dedicated Sovereign AI Forum examining infrastructure, data ownership and strategic independence. Confirmed contributors include Audrey Tang, Marietje Schaake, OpenAI board member Zico Kolter, Sony Global Head of AI Governance Alice Xiang, and Meta Oversight Board Executive Director Daniel Eriksson.

For executives, board members and governance professionals, the value lies in seeing technical development alongside its commercial and institutional consequences. Sessions on enterprise deployment, agentic systems, reliable production infrastructure and AI governance can help leaders test assumptions, compare approaches and identify the decisions their organisations will need to make. As the anchor event of World AI Week, the summit also provides access to a wider international community. This community spans industry, research, investment and public policy.
